I have thought long and hard about this and have decided to sell my Shiloh 1874 Sharps #1 Sporting Rifle. It is 45-70 caliber with a 30” heavy octagon barrel, and in excellent condition. It has the new model Red River long range Soul vernier sight with the multi aperture eye cup and globe front sight with level. The sights alone are over $600. The rifle has a few upgrades, the steel shotgun butt plate, the pewter nose cap on the forearm, accent line on the cheek piece, and double set triggers. The rifle is long range competition ready and weights with sights right at the 12lb 2oz limit. Currently I believe there is a 2 year wait for a new rifle direct from Shiloh. Back when I bought this rifle there was a 4 year wait. I will only do a face-to-face transaction as I do not want to ship this rifle. I am asking $3500.
