For sale, my 1946 Colt Woodsman. 1946 is a unique year for all firearm manufacturers. They were just finishing their WWII government contracts and gearing up to begin civilian firearms again. None of the manufacturers were producing very much for the civilian market. If you are looking for that perfect gun to commemorate your birth year (or your father's, grandfather's, etc.), look no further. This is as good as it gets.
That said, if you are looking at this you already know what this firearm is. I will not bore you with the details. I will just say it is in excellent condition for an almost 80 year old pistol. Works perfectly.
What you see is what you get. Firearm, 4 magazines, soft case and Colt letter.
I'm sure you have some very nice things to offer me, but I am NOT interested in trades. I am thinning my herd. Make me a REASONABLE offer and I will consider it. I will not respond to lowball offers, I know this gun is worth. A bill of sale will be prepared for the transfer. I'm sorry if that offends you, but my gun, my rules. I will expect a valid TX ID, LTC preferred. and will ask that you provide me a copy in advance so the BOS can be ready to go when we meet.
Call or text OK.
